LG OLED — the most important panel to protect
LG OLED panels are driven by self-emissive pixels — there is no backlight, no diffuser layer, nothing between the pixel and the viewer except the panel’s own surface coating. That surface coating is the most delicate and most expensive to repair of any TV type. A scratch on an LG OLED panel that reaches below the coating requires full panel replacement — starting at Rs.28,000 for a 55 inch and above Rs.45,000 for a 65 inch.
